The Printable Homeschool Planner

I know there are many options out there for home school planners, and most home schooling moms have already started school this year, and most have probably chosen a planner already.

BUT, on the off-chance that there are some who haven’t found a planner yet, or haven’t been able to afford one, let me introduce you to one I just recently learned about!

The Printable Homeschool Planner created by Heather Bixler, is a great resource for many reasons. It is totally customizable and has a variety of printable forms from which to choose. And, one of the best things about this planner is the PRICE! For only $4.99 you get all of these forms:

  • Cover Page
  • Art Project Planner
  • Attendance Record Keeper
  • Book Report Worksheet
  • Field Trip Planner
  • Project Planner
  • Science Experiment Planner
  • Scripture Verse Planner
  • Student Project Notes Worksheet
  • Thematic Unit Planner
  • Lesson Planner

The MOST exciting part about this planner is that with these initial forms, you get a members-only password for unlimited, lifetime access to all current and future printables! New forms and worksheets are added every week, and if you have an idea for a form, you have opportunities to chime in. Right now in the member’s area there are extra forms like Daily Routines, Reading Lists, People in History Profiles, Sight Word Checklists, and more.

All you need to create your planner is:

  • A 3-ring binder
  • The home school forms you choose to fit your needs
  • A printer
  • A hole punch
  • Dividers (if desired)

To be honest, when I was given a copy of this planner, I had already bought my home school planner for this year. The reason I’m excited about Heather’s creation, however, is that for this year I can supplement with the forms I like and then I’m already set for next year!

Would you like that same opportunity?

Heather has very generously offered to give away 3 of The Printable Homeschool Planners! She has also offered a $2.00 discount if you buy the planner. That means that for $2.99 you can get a complete, customizable, and ever-improving home school planner for as many years as you may need or want it! Simply enter the discount code: L2BUCKS at checkout.

I think that’s a pretty good deal.

So, for the giveaway, I will randomly choose 3 of you who comment. That’s it. Just leave a comment and make sure I get a valid email address. I will leave this open until Friday, September 9th and choose winners on Saturday the 10th.

The legal stuff: I was given a copy of this planner for review and introduction purposes, but the opinions and excitement are all mine.

So, I have waited “post-rush” to get my planner for this year (i.e. I am behind, as always!) Would LOVE to try this and see if it can help this mom of 3 get (at least some of) her act together 🙂

  • I *STILL* have not got a planner for this year! We start on Monday! Why am I procrastinating about my planner?!

Seriously, though…I had a self-made planner that I used for years and I loved! Then halfway though last year, I found it just wasn’t working out for me anymore. I never sat down and figured out what wasn’t working for me…I just muddled though for the rest of our year. I am so NOT looking forward to messing around with making a new planner….Thanks for the head’s up about this one.
