“Mordecai sent back this reply to Esther: ’Don’t think for a moment that you will escape there in the palace when all other Jews are killed. If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance for the Jews will arise from some other place, but you and your relatives will die. What’s more, who can say but that you have been elevated to the palace for just such a time as this?‘” Esther 4:13-14 (NLT, emphasis mine)
This verse was mentioned yesterday morning in the worship service. I’ve read and heard the verse many times, but it just struck a fresh chord this time.
We may not be in the best of circumstances, or in a situation of our own choosing; we may question how we could affect any change or impact those around us. The question is–can we trust that God can and will work through us wherever we are, at this moment in our lives?
And what’s more, can we believe that we have specifically been placed where we are by God, for a purpose, in this time?

Have a great week!
