Five performances in three days. That was our weekend. Crazy fun. And the great part was that Ron got to be home for it all!
The show was divided up into a kids cast and an adult cast, with the script and songs being different for the younger ones. We were glad for that fact.
Love the 50’s fashions
Our family really does enjoy being part of our community’s theater program. Although, there are moments, usually the week of the shows, where I wonder why we choose the madness! I do know, however, that at least one person understands:
They seriously rolled a real car on and off stage for Greased Lightning
Beauty School Dropout
Our own Rydell Geek
After Friday night’s performance, we came out of the theater and Main Street was blocked off for a sock hop–complete with root beer floats, black and white checkerboard dance floor, vintage cars, and lots of people! We were there until after 11:00pm, and it was great fun!
Now, everyone’s exhausted, Ron is on his way back to his duty station, and we’ll take a deep breath until auditions for Peter Pan roll around–in less than a month. Whew!
