We are a pretty laid back homeschooling family. I have yet to find one curriculum and stick with it!
Through the years we have used Alpha Omega Lifepacs, Learning Language Arts Through Literature, The Weaver, BJU Press, My Father’s World, Tapestry of Grace, and Notgrass History.
This year we have gone back to an eclectic group of books and curriculum.
We try to hold to a loose daily schedule that runs from about 9am until 2pm, but that is always subject to change if something catches our attention.
The thing I love most about homeschooling is the flexibility to learn in different settings, change things around to suit us best, and be a distinctly Christian school that works with our kids as individuals with unique strengths and personalities. That is especially coming into play now that both girls are in high school. We have the freedom to tailor their high school education around their interests and goals.
